System Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

-            Provide first-line support for IT System and application on both hardware and software.

-            Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software, hardware, and network systems.

-            Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance to ensure optimal functionality.

-            Assist in the installation, configuration, and upgrading of software and hardware.

-            Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

-            Collaborate with IT teams to implement system updates and enhancements.

-            Train and support end-users in the effective use of software applications and systems.

-            Respond to user inquiries and provide timely solutions to technical problems.

-            Ensure data integrity and security by implementing appropriate backup and recovery procedures.

Qualifications:

-            Higher Diploma in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

-            Proven 3 years’ experience in a system support or technical support role.

-            Experience with Microsoft products (M365, OneDrive, Office)

-            Knowledge of Backup Tools (Avamar, Veaam)

-            Knowledge of Windows Servers, Redhat Linux 7.x 8.x, VMware

-            Knowledge of SolarWinds, MS MDE, Symantec Altiris

-            Knowledge of VMWare is a must

-            Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and software applications.

-            Familiarity with networking concepts and technologies.

-            Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
