Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct annual examination and other statutory testing for Company lifts & escalators in conjunction with Manager, Engineers and Supervisors in accordance with the annual test schedule

• Issue repair requisition to Service Department for rectification of defects found from test and examination and follow up the status

• Work with Engineers to complete testing and issuing of safety certificates

• Supervise the enforcement of electrical installation works for lifts and escalators

• Attend site meetings and joint inspection with internal & external clients as well as EMSD

• Monitor the incident rate and conduct check as necessary

Requirements
 

• Tertiary education or above in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines

• Attainment of certification of Lift and Escalator Engineers issued by EMSD

• Holder of a Registered Electrical Work - License A and/or B is preferred

• Minimum of 5 years' site experience in examination and testing of lift and escalator equipment

• Good communication and interpersonal skills and able to exercise good team collaboration with the Technicians and Engineers

• Strong detail-orientation, with good judgmental capabilities

• Strong sense of responsibilities and dedication

• Good command of written English and Chinese
