About Us:

We are a leading company in our industry, specializing in Diagnostics and Life Science products and services. We are currently seeking a Service Engineer to join our team. As a Service Engineer, you will play an important role in providing technical support and assistance to our valued customers. 

Responsibilities:

• Provide timely on site and remote technical support to customers, including diagnosis and resolution of issues related to our IVD and diagnostic equipment.

• Perform routine preventive maintenance, calibration, and servicing to ensure equipment operates at optimal performance and complies with regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with cross functional teams including sales and applications to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.

• Communicate with overseas manufacturers/factories to seek technical advice, escalate complex issues, and obtain guidance for effective troubleshooting.

• Install, configure, and test new instruments, software, and related systems at customer sites.

• Deliver user training on proper operation, safety procedures, and maintenance of our products.

• Accurately document all service activities, including service reports, troubleshooting steps, parts usage, and customer communications.

• Stay current with new technologies, product updates, and industry trends to support continuous improvement and technical excellence.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Service Engineer or in a similar technical support role, preferably within the IVD or medical device industry.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem solving skills, with hands on experience in mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.

• Familiarity with diagnostic instruments, laboratory equipment, and software tools.

• Strong customer service mindset with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.

• Self motivated, well organized, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Willingness to travel to customer sites and perform field service as required.
