What this job involves 

• Oversee day-to-day engineering operations and maintenance activities at the client site

• Ensure all mechanical, electrical, and building systems operate within regulatory and safety standards

• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of technical issues.

• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to execute preventive and corrective maintenance

• Support capital projects, energy efficiency initiatives, and continuous improvement programs

• Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and compliance records

• Promote a culture of safety, reliability, and operational excellence

Interested?  An ideal candidate would need to have the following qualifications 

Desired experience and technical skills

Required 

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or related field)

• Preferred: Valid Registered Energy Worker (REW) license or Chartered Engineer status (e.g., CEng via IET, IMechE, or equivalent professional body)

• Minimum 5 years of experience in facility engineering, building services, or critical environment operations (e.g., data centers, corporate campuses, or commercial real estate)

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, power distribution, BMS/EMS, fire/life safety, and plumbing systems

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Willingness to work on-site with occasional on-call responsibilities
