What this job involves

  • Manage day-to-day operations of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and building management systems (BMS)

  • Oversee integrated facilities services such as cleaning, security, landscaping, waste management, and vendor contracts

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and statutory regulations (e.g., SCDF, NEA, MOM, or local equivalents)

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs, energy efficiency initiatives, and sustainability strategies

  • Lead incident response, risk assessments, and business continuity planning

  • Manage budgets, track KPIs, and deliver regular performance reports to stakeholders

  • Act as the primary point of contact for client relationship management related to facilities operations

  • Supervise on-site engineering and support staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement

Interested?  An ideal candidate would need to have the following qualifications

Desired experience and technical skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Building Services, or a related field

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in facilities management, preferably within commercial office, corporate campus, or mission-critical environments

  • Strong technical understanding of building infrastructure and MEP systems

  • Experience managing third-party vendors, service-level agreements (SLAs), and P&L responsibilities

  • Proficiency in CAFM/IWMS systems (e.g., IBM TRIRIGA, Archibus) and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

  • Required: Valid PMP T1 or T2 certification
