IT Project Specialist

Responsibilities:-

• Independently Newspaper layout transmission from 8:00 PM to 2:00 AM.
• Monitor and manage the data center’s environmental and infrastructure systems to ensure the stable operation of power supply, UPS, temperature and humidity, fire safety, and access control systems. Perform full lifecycle operations and maintenance on servers, storage, and network equipment, including configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Set up and maintain core services such as Windows/Linux systems, AD/DHCP/DNS/NAS/DFS, and file sharing. Manage the operation and maintenance of virtualization and hyper-converged platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, Sangfor).
• Configure Alibaba Cloud resources, domain names, and cloud email. Manage the office network, desktop terminals, peripherals, and VDI, and optimize endpoint security policies. Data backup, security auditing, and vulnerability scanning to ensure system and data security.

Requirements:-

• Familiarity with newspaper publishing work flows; proficient in using EM editorial systems, InDesign (INDD) layout, FTP remote file transfer, and PDF editing and correction tools; capable of independently completing newspaper layout production, file transfer, format conversion, content proofreading, and final pre-publication file processing to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely delivery.
• Degree in computer science or a related field; 10+ years of IT system operations and maintenance experience; 3+ years of team management experience leading teams of 5 or more.
• Expertise in data center environmental monitoring (temperature, humidity, power, UPS, fire safety, and access control); proficient in the full lifecycle operations and maintenance of hardware including servers, storage, switches, and firewalls; capable of independently performing rack installation, configuration, routine inspections, troubleshooting, maintenance coordination, and hardware replacement.
• Proficient in VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, and Sangfor hyper-converged virtualization and private cloud platforms; familiar with Alibaba Cloud resource management, domain name registration and resolution, cloud email, cloud security configuration, and cost optimization.
• Proficient in the operation and maintenance of MySQL/MSSQL databases, Nginx/Apache/IIS/LNMP middleware, and Zabbix monitoring; possesses capabilities in data backup and recovery, security hardening, vulnerability scanning, and incident response.
• Proficient in office networks, Wi-Fi, desktop terminals, network access control, security policies, and behavioral management; capable of quickly resolving incidents such as network outages, server crashes, and bulk terminal anomalies. Possesses strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills, able to rapidly identify complex issues through logs, monitoring, and network traces and provide long-term solutions.
• Must hold one of the following cloud computing/virtualization certifications: VMware VCP, Nutanix Virtualization, Huawei Cloud Computing HCIE, or Alibaba Cloud ACP. Must hold one of the following operating system certifications: RHCE, MCSA, Kylin KYCP, or UnionTech UCP. Candidates with storage and networking certifications from Cisco, Huawei, H3C, IBM, EMC, NetApp, etc., will be given priority.
• Good command of written English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua
