Duties
The appointee will be required to:
(a) liaise with academic units and offices of the University in planning student recruitment activities to promote undergraduate programmes to both local and local international school students;
(b) deliver admission talks;
(c) organise campus visits, summer camps, education fairs and other promotional activities;
(d) answer enquiries from teachers, students and the general public;
(e) handle admissions-related data and perform basic analysis;
(f) supervise supporting staff members; and
(g) perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of Global Engagement or his/her delegates.
The appointee will be required to work outside office hours occasionally.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) a recognised degree or an equivalent qualification;
(b) at least three years of relevant post-qualification experience, preferably with work experience in student recruitment and student development gained in tertiary institutions;
(c) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua being an advantage;
(d) good computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing;
(e) excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal with stakeholders at different levels; and
(f) strong organisational skills and be able to complete tasks independently under tight timelines.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to deliver a presentation, sit for a written test and a computer
test.

Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
