Responsibilities:

The appointee will be responsible for organising HKTDC’s promotional programs and activities for specific industry sector, major responsibilities including:   

• To initiate marketing plan; social media promotion and execute the marcom and publicity communication activities in local, mainland China, Asian and international markets for achieving the KPI targets;

• To liaise with overseas offices, external and internal parties, including co-organiser, strategic partners, local and overseas trade/industry associations, to develop and implement consolidated marketing programmes and messages;

• To identify and establish relevant partners of media and marketing channels, industry-specific KOL and social media worldwide for boosting the marketing impact for projects;

• To manage photography and video productions, advertising campaigns and content marketing;

• To conduct local and overseas marketing programmes, such as seminars and roadshows, etc, for generating business enquiries;

• To provide on-site support and other administrative support as and when necessary;

• To take up other adhoc projects and tasks when necessary.
   

 Requirements:

• A recognised university degree with at least 8 years’ working experience, preferably with sizable organisations in sales and marketing;

• Extensive experience in event marketing and social media promotion is a plus;

• Self-motivated with good project management skills;

• A strong team player with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and good at attending to details;

• Innovative, flexible and be able to deliver under time and resource pressure;

• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua;

• Strong inclination and understanding of Hong Kong economy, trade and business area.

Candidates with less solid experience will be offered at Assistant Manager, Service Promotion

Remuneration and Benefits:

The successful candidate will be appointed on a fixed-term contract basis, renewable subject to operational needs. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
