The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the statutory organisation promoting Hong Kong’s external trade, seeks dynamic, high-caliber and experienced professionals to join our Exhibitions and Digital Business Department. To strengthen Hong Kong's role as Asia's international business platform, we organise more than 30 world-class international trade fairs in Hong Kong each year.  These fairs, which cover various industries and sectors, create opportunities for companies to promote their products or services to buyers from all over the world.

Responsibilities:

• To assist project managers in the overall planning and execution of local and overseas trade promotional events related to Healthcare and Bio-medical services

• To recruit participants for trade promotional projects

• To provide logistic support for trade promotional projects, including assisting in liaisons with external vendors, as well as internal departments and branch offices

• To handle enquiries from event participants and undertake on-site duties

• To liaise and maintain good relations with working partners and industry associations

• To undertake administrative duties as and when necessary

Requirements: 

• University graduate with a minimum of 3 years' solid experience in project management and/or event organizing is preferred

• Proactive, self-initiated and detail-minded

• Mature, creative, with team spirit

• Able to multitask, meet tight deadlines and work under pressure

• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Fluent in Putonghua

• Proficiency in MS applications and Chinese word-processing

• Customer-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with people from all levels

• Occasional weekend and public holiday work may be necessary.

Remuneration and Benefits:

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A competitive remuneration and benefits package, including annual leave, medical and dental benefits, will be offered.
