Responsibilities:
Perform environmental tests on water samples and other samples as assigned according to standard operating procedure
Perform Molecular Biology Experiments, such as RNA/DNA extraction, qPCR, PCR, etc.
Maintain laboratory records according to HOKLAS requirement
Data logging and processing of test results
Maintain good housekeeping of the laboratory
Undertake any other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Higher Diploma or above in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Medical Testing, Environmental Science, Analytical Science or equivalent
Knowledge of aseptic techniques and bacteria culturing methods
Knowledge of HOKLAS is an advantage
Willing to learn, be a good team player and self-initiative
Good analytical, communication and organization skills
Fresh graduates are also welcome
Immediately available is highly preferred
Working hours: Tue - Sat (9am - 6pm)
A shift in working hours will be required upon request
