Job Purpose

The role is responsible for developing denim and garment washing capabilities based on our SE Asia factory, according to sales forecasts and customer demand. The role coordinates customer wash development activities, maintains communication across departments, supports daily bulk production scheduling and problem-solving, and conducts data analysis to improve development efficiency and reduce cost.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop capabilities based on sales department and customer demand forecasts, coordinating the effective use of raw materials, equipment, and human resources, and reasonably arranging development plans.

• Collaborate with sales department colleagues to handle customer wash development affairs, such as customer visits, and be responsible for all development styles and related communication.

• Participate in daily bulk production scheduling, developing and optimizing production plans to ensure timely delivery of products. Promptly identify and resolve bottlenecks in the production process, and develop contingency plans to address emergencies or production delays.

• Conduct data analysis, collecting and analysing development data to assess and forecast development efficiency and departmental plans. Monitor costs, seeking opportunities to reduce costs, and analyse production efficiency to propose improvement suggestions.

• Collaborate with chemical suppliers and washing equipment suppliers to develop and research innovative products.

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma holder in Textile & Clothing preferable.

• Minimum 10 years relevant experience in denim/ garment washing development.

• Good washing technique skill for denim washing processes.

• Fluent in both written and spoken English

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Station in South East Asia is required

• Those with less experience will be considered as Assistant Washing R&D Manager
