Nursing Manager – Outpatient

【Responsibilities】

  • Oversee all nursing services and clinical operations within the Outpatient Department to ensure a benchmark of service excellence.
  • Supervise and monitor nursing staff, providing hands-on coaching to ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe and evidence-based patient care.
  • Plan and organize daily workflows, demonstrating the ability to juggle multiple tasks and ensure seamless department operations.
  • Act as a key liaison to facilitate holistic care in seamless collaboration with medical and allied health professionals.
  • Contribute to the formulation and implementation of hospital-wide policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Drive the implementation of KPIs and service improvement projects, consistently monitoring effectiveness and clinical outcomes.
  • Manage and provide high-level support for complaints, clinical risks and incidents with a calm and decisive approach.
  • Partner with internal and external departments to enhance patient service management and operational fluidity.
  • Promote and monitor safety protocols to ensure an optimal health environment for both patients and healthcare personnel.
  • Oversee department budgets and manage resources effectively to meet operational goals.
  • Support and motivate the nursing team, fostering a collaborative culture to achieve superior service outcomes.

【Qualifications & Experience】

  • Holder of Bachelor Degree in Nursing and Master Degree in Nursing or Healthcare-related studies.
  • Holder of Hong Kong Registered Nurse license with valid practicing certificate.
  • Holder of ACLS & Valid BLS Certificate.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant nursing experience with at least 5 years in a managerial role within a private hospital setting.
  • Exceptional ability to thrive in high-pressure environments, managing multiple competing priorities with precision.
  • A resilient and firm leader who remains professional under pressure while being highly approachable and empathetic toward staff and patients.
  • Outstanding communication and "people skills," with a natural ability to build rapport and influence positive team dynamics.
  • Strong capabilities in strategic thinking, decision-making and navigating complex organizational challenges.
  • Demonstrated success in team-building, project management and mentoring nursing staff.
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications and modern healthcare management systems.
