To ensure our technology effectively supports these objectives, we are seeking a skilled IT System Specialist to join our team.

The Role

This is a critical role within our IT department focused on maintaining a robust and secure technological foundation. You will be responsible for providing high-level technical support to both internal and external users while ensuring the seamless operation of our core infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between complex system maintenance and efficient user service delivery.

What You’ll Do

• System Administration: Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions across various platforms, including Active Directory, file shares, email, and VPN access.

• Infrastructure Management: Responsible for the configuration, backup, and maintenance of critical equipment and software, specifically switches, VMWare, and firewalls.

• Technical Support: Provide reliable and efficient IT support to internal and external users, ensuring timely updates and clear communication throughout the resolution process.

• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform regular hardware and software maintenance duties and provide technical troubleshooting support to all branches.

• System Development: Assist in the development, system testing, and ongoing support of application systems.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with fellow IT team members, external vendors, and various departments to support cross-functional projects.

• Operational Support: Perform other duties as assigned by the Chamber to meet operational needs.

Who We’re Looking For

• Education: Degree holder in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in IT system administration or technical support.

• Technical Proficiency: Proven experience with VMWare, network switch configuration, and firewall management.

• User Focus: A commitment to providing timely updates and clear communication to users regarding the status of their requests.

• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues across multiple locations.

• Proactive Mindset: A proactive and inquisitive approach with a strong willingness to ensure operational efficiency.
