Business Analyst (GenAI & Automation) - insurance - 35k
About Our Client We are partnering with a leading, forward-thinking insurer that is aggressively expanding its digital innovation capabilities. They are actively seeking a highly energetic, self-motivated, and dynamic Business Analyst to join their Digital Strategy & Transformation team. This is a unique growth opportunity to get hands-on with Generative AI and automation initiatives while building your career in project management.

The Role This is a high-visibility role with a clear runway for career growth. You will serve as the crucial bridge between business units and technology teams. Initially, this role will involve a mix of foundational groundwork and user support-acting as the go-to person to identify user pain points and provide technical "know-how."

Key Responsibilities

  • User Support & Requirement Gathering: Meet with various business channels to elicit requirements. Identify user pain points and bridge the gap by providing technical know-how and actionable solutions.
  • Workflow Automation & Groundwork: Be willing to roll up your sleeves for foundational tasks. You will handle end-user computing requests by using Microsoft tools to automate tedious, manual workflows.
  • Progressive Project Management (PMO): Assist with, and eventually take ownership of, PMO duties. This includes managing overall task progress, reporting, and tracking deliverables. High-performing candidates will be entrusted to lead and run small-to-medium digital projects.
  • Future-Proofing & Tech Liaison: Act as the anchor between the business and tech teams. Over the long term, you will expand your technical horizons into data pipelines, data migration projects, and potential future coding requirements.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Mindset: You are highly energetic, proactive, and "hungry" to learn. You possess a self-motivated, aggressive drive to deliver results, coupled with a highly presentable and professional communication style.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in business analysis, project support, or driving technology-enabled initiatives.
  • Tech Stack: Basic working knowledge of the Microsoft M365 GenAI suite and Power Platform-specifically Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Power Automate-is highly advantageous. Basic knowledge of data pipelines is a strong plus.
  • Core Skills: Solid capabilities in requirement gathering, complex process mapping, and translating business challenges into technical workflows.
  • Industry Background: Exposure to the insurance industry or other financial services sectors is highly preferred.
