Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day accounting activities, manage the general ledger, and perform comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations.
• Drive timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare and submit financial reporting packages to Group Finance in Stockholm, ensuring strict adherence to IFRS and internal corporate guidelines.
• Monitor liquidity, forecast cash flow, and maintain strong local banking relationships.
• Act as the central point of contact to coordinate externally outsourced payroll deliverables.
• Lead and facilitate local annual audit processes from end to end.
• Ensure total compliance with local tax regulations (including GST/VAT, corporate tax, and withholding tax) and statutory filing requirements across all APAC jurisdictions.
• Serve as the primary contact and subject matter expert for regional corporate governance matters.
• Manage, monitor, and review the performance of third-party accounting firms to guarantee accuracy, compliance, and adherence to strict deadlines.
• Act as the primary financial point of contact for APAC regional management regarding day-to-day accounting matters.
• Collaborate closely with Stockholm HQ to streamline processes and seamlessly implement global financial tools and policies across the APAC region.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years in accounting/finance
• Backgrounds that include financial reporting are desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, adapt quickly and deliver accurate outcomes. Strong attention to detail and practical problem-solving capability.
• Prior exposure to ERP Systems will be an advantage.
• Proficient written and spoken English and Chinese.
