Evangel Hospital is seeking a highly capable Senior Administrative Manager to oversee the central administration, corporate communications and marketing, facilities management, human resources, medical records, occupational safety and security functions of the Hospital.
This key leadership role demands exceptional integrity, robust experience in corporate governance, sharp critical thinking and proven crisis management skills. Strong, intelligent and passionate leadership is expected to foster harmony and collaboration, transform culture, and unite departments with a shared purpose. Reporting to the Hospital Superintendent, the incumbent will be a core member of the Senior Management Committee, contributing to the Hospital’s daily operation as well as strategic direction.
【Responsibilities】
Provide strategic oversight and leadership for the Hospital’s central administration, corporate communications and marketing, facilities management, human resources, medical records, occupational safety and security functions
Lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and staff engagement
Ensure high standards of corporate governance and promote organizational integrity
Manage crisis situations decisively while maintaining a calm and composed approach
Foster positive workplace harmony and culture as well as strong cross-department collaboration
Serve as an integral member of the Hospital’s Senior Management Committee to shape hospital strategy and operations
Be accessible to handle emergencies, urgent matters and operational needs arising outside regular working hours including rest days and public holidays.
【Qualifications & Preferred Attributes】
University graduate in Business Administration or related discipline
At least 10 years of extensive and solid executive and managerial experience preferably gained from sizable organisations in healthcare or NGO/ NPO settings
Demonstrated leadership in overseeing multiple departments and effectively coordinating operations and initiatives across departmental lines
Demonstrated high integrity and commitment to corporate governance
Proven ability to cultivate a harmonious and collaborative work culture
Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities complemented by strong organizational and strategic planning capabilities
Proficiency in crisis management by maintaining composure and resilience and responding thoughtfully and strategically
Exceptional emotional intelligence with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent command of written English and Chinese and fluency in spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua highly preferred.
