Security Engineer (34k, MNC, SI Background)

About the Company

Our client is a leading IT Solutions Provider looking for a high-caliber Security Engineer / Senior Security Engineer to join their expanding project team. You will be responsible for the end-to-end design, deployment, and optimization of robust security infrastructures for enterprise-scale clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Deployment: Lead the architecture, technical planning, and documentation of complex network security projects, including SD-WAN, SASE, and Cloud Security platforms.

  • Technical Implementation: Install, configure, and fine-tune high-end enterprise security infrastructure (Next-Gen Firewalls, WAF, VPN, and Load Balancers).

  • Client Advisory: Partner closely with enterprise clients' security teams to establish technical roadmaps, provide expert recommendations, and build long-term trust.

  • Project Delivery: Oversee project milestones, technical schedules, and resources; orchestrate with vendors and third parties to ensure on-time project delivery.

  • Incident Response: Act as a tier-3 escalation point to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve critical network and security incidents.

  • Technical Leadership: Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers on complex deployment cases.

Requirements

  • Education: Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

  • Experience: Minimum 4 years’ experience gained within a System Integrator (SI) or managed service provider environment.

  • Product Knowledge: Solid hands-on experience with Palo Alto (PCNSE), Check Point, Fortinet, and F5 Load Balancers.

  • Technical Scope: Strong architectural knowledge of LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, SASE, Remote Access VPN, and Cloud Networking (AWS / Azure).

  • Network Fundamentals: Deep familiarity with Cisco routing/switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, IPSEC, QoS). CCNP is highly preferred.

  • Certifications: Professional credentials such as PCNSE, CISSP, CISA, or CEH are highly advantageous.

  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset; fluent communication skills in Cantonese and English (Mandarin is a plus).
