Job Summary:

We are seeking an innovative and passionate Head of Sales to lead our sales team and drive occupancy and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will develop and execute strategic sales plans, build strong relationships with key clients and partners, and represent Runway 1331 - Enlight's unique energy to the wider market.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.

• Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including group bookings, partnerships, and events.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, agencies, and local organizations.

• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales tactics.

• Prepare and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and reports for senior management.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute promotional initiatives.

• Represent Runway 1331 - Enlight at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the hospitality sector, especially youth and hostel markets.

Person Requirement:
Education

• Bachelor's Degree or higher.

Field of Study

• Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

Area of Experience

• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within hospitality, hotels, or hostels.

• Proven experience in team management, strategic planning, and relationship building.

Other Professional Qualifications / Technical Skills / Knowledge Required

• Strong knowledge of sales techniques, revenue management, and business development.

• Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.

• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.

• Familiarity with the youth travel market is a strong advantage.

Language Proficiency

• Excellent command of English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
