We are inviting applications for an Assistant Safety Officer, who will be stationed on site and will ensure full compliance with local legislation and company requirements, and promote a strong safety culture among stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Safety Officer to ensure all site operations comply with Hong Kong safety laws, regulations and relevant codes of practice, as well as internal standards and project requirements

• Work closely with the project team to help implement and review project‑specific safety plans, risk assessments, and emergency procedures, and keep all related documentation up to date.

• Assist in regular site safety inspections, audits and hazard identification; follow up on corrective and preventive actions.

• Help plan, coordinate and deliver safety trainings, toolbox talks and safety promotion activities for staff and workers.

Requirements

• Higher Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Construction, Engineering or related discipline preferred.

• 3 years of relevant site safety experience in construction projects

• Good communication and coordination skills

• Able to work independently and under pressure.

• Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English, and proficiency in common office software for reporting and documentation.

• Night shifts might be required.
