IT OFFICER - INFRASTRUCTURE
Job description:

Responsibilities
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Set up and configure virtual machines, storage, and networking resources required to support cloud-based applications. Monitor performance to ensure maximum uptime and minimal downtime
  • Resource Management: Utilize tools like Azure Portal, Azure PowerShell, and Azure CLI to manage Azure resources effectively. Configure virtual networks, storage accounts, and other components
  • Security and Compliance: Implement preventive security measures to protect Azure resources. Ensure compliance with organizational security policies
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operation teams, developers, security experts, and DevOps engineers/vendors, to deliver seamless Azure-powered solutions
  • Optimization: Continuously optimize the cloud environment for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Troubleshooting: Resolve Azure services-related issues promptly
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest advancements in Microsoft Azure and cybersecurity preventive measures
  • Perform any duties assigned by the management of Build King Group
Requirements
  • Higher Diploma or above in IT-related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in managing Azure for SME
  • Proficiency in managing Azure resources, including virtual machines, databases, and networking components
  • Familiarity with tools like Azure PowerShell and Azure CLI
  • Knowledge in cybersecurity best practices and experience implementing security measures within Azure
  • Knowledge in security products, firewalls, proxies, SIEM, XDR, and IDPS concepts is an advantage
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate certification or equivalent is preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to address issues promptly
  • Effective communication to interact with stakeholders and convey technical information
