Data Center QA/QC Manager (18-Month Contract)

About the Role

The Data Center QA/QC Manager will lead the quality assurance and quality control activities across mission-critical data center projects. This role is responsible for ensuring that design, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities meet project specifications, industry standards, and client quality requirements.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and implement project-specific Quality Management Plans (QMPs) for data center projects.
  • Lead QA/QC processes across design, construction, testing, and commissioning phases.
  • Conduct inspections, audits, and quality reviews to verify compliance with project specifications, codes, standards, and client requirements.
  • Review and validate ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), method statements, commissioning procedures, and quality documentation.
  • Manage punch lists, defects, non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and close-out activities.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, and commissioning teams to drive quality performance and issue resolution.
  • Monitor construction quality for critical infrastructure systems including electrical, mechanical, controls, and life safety systems.
  • Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and Integrated Systems Testing (IST) activities.
  • Track quality metrics, identify trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure comprehensive turnover documentation and support operational readiness activities.

What you'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Services, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in QA/QC, construction quality, commissioning, or project delivery within mission-critical, industrial, or large-scale infrastructure environments.
  • Strong understanding of data center infrastructure
  • Experience managing inspections, audits, testing, and commissioning documentation.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems, construction standards, and commissioning processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving capabilities.
