Accountant (Accounts Payable)

How you will make an impact:

As an Accountant, he / she is responsible for managing and executing the Group’s Accounts Payable functions of Finance Operations, including 3-way matching invoices processing, reconciling accounts, and ensuring control and compliance to the Group’s policies and procedures. While reporting to Senior Accountant, the Accountant performs typical work and collaborates closely with other teams / business units.

  • Perform the Accounts Payable process at electronic platform (eRAP and Aconex) and SAP FI, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and reconciliation

  • Handle month-end accruals and resolve any payable-related issues

  • Support both internal and external audit review, reconciliations with remediations

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local regulations

  • Support to streamline process and system enhancement project

What we are looking for:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Accountancy or related disciplines

Experience and Skills:

  • At least 5 years or above relevant experience in a similar capacity

  • Strong focus on AP functions and related processes

  • Proactive, independent, with meticulousness and accuracy, initiative & strong sense of responsibility

  • A good team player with interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proficiency in using MS Excel & PowerPoint

  • Experience in using electronic approval tools and SAP (S/4 HANA) system is preferred

  • Immediate availability is highly preferred
