Christian Alliance International School (CAIS), a non-profit making company wholly owned by the Kowloon Tong Church of the Chinese Christian and Missionary Alliance, invites applications for the position of Substitute Teacher Support Assistant (for absence cover).

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervision of students during arrival, dismissal, transition between classes, recess, lunch, and field trips

• Roadside crossing assistance in a safe and professional manner

• Setting up of eating and recreational areas as needed

• Prepare teaching / learning / curriculum resources

• Perform computer work such as document creation

• Prepare and present displays of students’ work

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience

• High school graduate

• Previous training and experience in working with young children is highly desirable

• Basic computer skills required

• High level of proficiency in spoken and written English

• High adaptability with integrity and strong work ethic

• Good team player, loves children

• Energetic, enthusiastic, and resilient

• Candidate embracing values of Christian education preferred
