Driver requirements
A competent Cantonese and English speaking driver shall be appointed and agreed by the Project Manager or delegate.
The driver shall hold a valid driving licence of the appropriate vehicle category for at least 3 years with a good driving record.
The driver shall not smoke inside the contract vehicle.
The driver shall not drink alcohol or take drugs while carrying out driving duties.
The driver shall possess a mobile phone with hands-free kit connected to a local mobile network.
The Contractor shall provide Construction Industry Safety Course (Green Card) training for the driver.
For the Project Manager's contract vehicle driver, the vehicle shall be available during the following periods:
Monday to Saturday: 08:00 to 18:30 with 1-hour lunch break. The lunch break time is decided by the Project Manager.
Any time when the Contractor is working outside the normal hours.
Other times as instructed by the Project Manager.
Including periods of Red/Black Rainstorm Warning, Landslip Warning, and Typhoon Signals when requested by the Project Manager.

Practical interpretation: The driver is normally required to work 08:00-18:30, Monday to Saturday, plus any additional hours specifically instructed by the Project Manager.
