The CUHK Business School is a leading business school and a pioneer in business education in Hong Kong. Since its establishment in Hong Kong in 1963, the CUHK Business School has gained world recognition of nurturing business leaders with immense contributions in the Asia Pacific. The School has been offering a comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes (MBA, MSc,MAcc, EMBA, MPhil, PhD) with over 4,600 students, as well as executive education. It has one of the most extensive alumni networks in the region, with over 40,000 alumni around the world.

The Executive MBA Programme is the first programme of its kind offered in Hong Kong. The Programme, initially offered by CUHK Business School in 1993, is a two-year part-time programme that is unique in its approach to graduate business education in Hong Kong.

Reporting to the Programme Director or her / his designate, the appointee is a member of the programme team to provide assistance in (a) admission process, including but not limited to assisting in the whole admission exercise, completing the necessary procedures required by the University (such as handling all the processing work after receiving application forms until applicants become students), liaising with the University’s internal units (such as Graduate School and Finance Office) and HKSAR government authorities (such as Immigration Department, Student Financial Assistance Agency, Office of the Continuing Education Fund, etc.); (b) student and alumni affairs, such as tuition processing, student profile and monitoring of students’ study progress, updating alumni record, providing advice to alumni for their enquiries, etc.; (c) teaching- or academic-related matters, including liaising with teachers and the relevant units; (d) administrative and operational support for the Programme; and (e) other tasks as assigned and other impromptu duties. Working at flexible / irregular hours may be required.

Applicants should have / be (i) a Bachelor’s degree; (ii) at least 5 years’ post-qualification administrative work experience; (iii) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua); (iv) good interpersonal skills; (v) a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation; (vi) the ability to work independently in a well-organised manner; (vii) attentiveness to details; and (viii) proficiency in computer applications, such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint (including Chinese word-processing). Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for written test(s).

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
