Job Description
(a) to assist in drawing up the operational plans and publicity plans for celebration activities and territory-wide/regional/cross-district projects; (b) to implement the celebration and territory-wide/regional/cross-district activities including coordinating and liaising with government departments, non-government organisations and various parties; (c) to assist in compiling and monitoring the programme budget; (d) to assist in handling the guest invitation matters; (e) to assist in arranging the design and printing of invitation cards, reply slips, guidance notes, etc; (f) to assist in processing funding applications from non-government organisation in implementing projects; (g) any other duties as assigned. (h) If necessary, will be required to work outside normal office hours including Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.
Requirements
(a) a bachelor degree from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent; (b) minimum 5 years of post-qualification working experience in event organisation and/ or public relations including large scale functions at territory-wide or international level; (c) good communication and organisation skills; (d) good command of Chinese and English (both written and spoken); and (e) good computer knowledge including proficiency of MS Word and Excel.
Terms of Appointment: Successful candidates will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms from April/ May 2026 to November/ December 2026. Renewal of contract will be subject to the service need of the Department and the performance of the candidate.

(g) Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications. Remuneration
$44,210 per month
Fringe Benefits Rest days, statutory holidays (or substituted holidays), annual leave, maternity leave, sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted in line with the provisions of the Employment Ordinance.
