The appointee will provide a range of administrative support to the Office of the Provost (PRVST), including secretarial assistance to the Associate Provost (Health and Medical Sciences) (AP-HMS), involving handling of confidential and sensitive information.
Major responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative support including liaising with internal and external parties, and handling incoming and outgoing correspondences and enquiries for PRVST;
- Providing secretarial support for the AP-HMS including diary management, scheduling meetings and making logistical arrangements for trips and visits; and
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree or above with preferably at least 3 years of post-qualification work experience. Non-degree holders with at least 5 years’ relevant secretarial / administrative working experience will also be considered.
Candidates should have good interpersonal and communication skills, problem-solving skills, and be responsible, proactive, self-motivated, detailed-oriented, highly organized and able to work both independently as well as in a team. A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) are required. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
