Assistant Accountant

Major Responsibilities:

  • Handle daily accounts operation independently & transactions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, month-end closing, and reconciliations
  • Assist in financial reporting and management reporting (including but not limited to budgeting and forecasting)
  • Work closely with the accounting team of different school sections to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations
  • Liaise with bank and external auditors in all aspects of financial reporting
  • Assist in audit and tax matters
  • Assist in a system implementation projects
  • Assist in ad-hoc assignments and tasks as assigned

 Requirements:

  • Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Detail oriented, good analytical & interpersonal skills, self-motivated, able to work independently & under pressure
  • Well organized, with excellent interpersonal & communication skills
  • High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
  • Candidates with more experience could be considered as Accountant.
