Senior Officer, Technical (GIS)

This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in airport Geographic Information System (GIS) project development
  • Organize data for multiple sources for airport GIS applications
  • Produce geospatial maps for airport GIS applications
  • Upkeep airport GIS data and applications
  • Provide internal staff training and support on GIS services

Requirements:

  • Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate or above in Land Surveying & Geomatics / Geographic Information System (GIS) / Geomatics / Geography or other related disciplines with at least 8 years’ relevant working experience in GIS applications.  Degree holder with minimum of 4 years’ relevant working experience will also be considered
  • Knowledge in BIM, CAD or GIS software is an advantage
  • Proactive, service-oriented and able to work independently
  • Good interpersonal, organizing and communication skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
  • Holder of a valid HK driving license (Class 1, 2) is preferred
